The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) is the global representative of the alternative investment industry, with around 2,100 corporate members in over 60 countries. AIMA’s fund manager members collectively manage just over US$4 trillion in hedge fund and private credit assets.

The Canadian Securities Lending Association (CASLA) works with Canadian regulators, self-regulatory organisations and other market participants to ensure the long-term viability of the Canadian securities lending industry and the adoption of best practices.

For over 50 years ICMA and its members have worked together to promote the development of the international capital and securities markets, pioneering the rules, principles and recommendations which have laid the foundations for their successful operation. 

The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) is a leading non-profit industry association, representing the common interests of securities lending and financing market participants across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Incorporated in May 2024, ISLA Americas  is a non-profit industry association, presently representing the common interests of securities lending firms in the Americas region, namely institutional investors, and asset managers, and custodial banks.

The South African Securities Lending Association (SASLA) is the industry body representing the collective interests of the securities lending market in South Africa. Established more than 25 years ago, SASLA plays a pivotal role in promoting the orderly, efficient, and competitive development of the local securities lending ecosystem. SASLA works in close collaboration with regulators, exchanges, and key industry stakeholders, with representation on several market committees to help shape market infrastructure and policy. The association has been instrumental in driving key industry initiatives, including the development of the South African Securities Lending Code of Guidance and the market-specific Schedule to the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (GMSLA). Today, SASLA comprises over 20 members, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, and service providers, all committed to fostering a transparent, robust, and well-functioning securities lending market.

The Securities Finance Association (formerly PASLA), established in 1995 and recently rebranded, is the leading industry body for securities finance and derivatives market participants across the Asia‑Pacific. 

The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) is the voice of Europe’s wholesale financial markets, providing expertise across a broad range of regulatory and capital markets issues. We represent the leading global and European banks and other significant capital market players.

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) fosters safe and efficient derivatives markets to facilitate effective risk management for all users of derivatives products. ISDA has over 1,000 member institutions from 76 countries, encompassing a wide range of market participants.
